What next?

On the road side under a tree, I saw a crowd surrounding a man who was sitting on a pavement. He was having some cards and a cage, may be housing a parrot or a rat or whatever...., I enquired around and found that he foretells the future and the crowd around was waiting for their turn to find out "What Next?" in their lives. The crux of restlessness in people's lives-'what next? ' A new entry into world ..'what next?' studying in school..'what next?' finished education..'what next?'...Ultimately, I feel this question only seems to cease after we lay in peace waiting for this very body to be burnt or buried.... oh..oh..hold on.. Its still on..the soul will be searching ....what next?
So, next can be seen and attended to...next...but look into this wonderful present in which we are at present....this is the "present" God gifted us with .....lets not waste it ....calculating as to "what next"?

SMILE....AS U R OF NO CONSEQUENCE

Its really ridiculous to observe how small conversations with words of no consequence become an issue of contention and robs peace and harmony in our lives. Small words raise a storm. Sometimes, words which are uttered without any wrong intentions tend to go against us.Though we sport a smile on our face ,people see a frown. And at times, 'coz of all these, we tend to get little disturbed and lose our sleep. But then, as I have observed, thats the way things are in this "instant coffee and fast food" world. The world tends to see you as a dynamic doll with a pasted smile on your face all life..... Hang on, there is a reason for us to smile at everything.... still... you are ridiculed, you are frowned at, you are seen as a clown of harsh temperment, or when you are accused of having a wrong intention despite you having none, people call you a fretter which thrashes down your cheerful countenance... SMILE...smile first at yourself 'coz of the adjectives attached to your persona by people...then smile at the person who is on a mud slinging spree against you for his immaturity.....smile for the people....smile 'coz its your health...by frowning or by taking upto an argument, you are subjecting yourself to unwanted stress and strain.... why have you got to take pain for the indecency and stupidity of other people ........
smile friend....'coz we are free...smile 'coz we are democratic...
smile 'coz all damage is done by the people who fail to understand you and your intentions; hence their allegations should be of least consequence....smile for the people, 'coz they are ailing and need support from you....smile 'coz you happen to be one of these people....'coz have you not done this to someone sometime.....

THE FORGOTTEN LEADER
Oct 2nd.......Birth anniversary of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ( Has he any awards/recognition?..... if no, then has it become so difficult for us Indians to recognise him and remember him?)

On 2nd October 2005, the newspapers filled their spaces with articles on one and only Mahatma Gandhi. Children all over the country were made to stand in schools and roadsides near statues of the Mahatma to commemorate his birth anniversary. All noted dignitaries of the country and abroad showered the best of their compliments.

I feel great about my people, my country.
